Chris field has begun filming at Abbey road once again with Tony van and
directing the much anticipated Single "Make it tonight" featuring
Sam brown.This time round Tony has us travel with Chris and sam through
a day's recording session at Air studios...Expect the unexpected.
Chris Field has finished recording the remaining tracks for his debut
album in Rockfield Studios and AIR studios, with legendary producer Bob
Rose and his recording band: Robbie Blunt (Robert Plant, Silverhead) -
guitar & slide guitar, Nigel Harrison (Blondie, Silverhead & Iggy
Pop) – bass, Manny Elias - drums plus many special guests.
Bob Rose has previously produced albums for Julian Lennon, George Harrison,
and Roy Orbison. For Rose, You Take Me Up is a reminder of his familiar
George Harrison roots: “When I first went through his material,
which is all great, that song jumped out at me,” he says. “I
knew immediately it would work with a Harrison type sound. I just wish
he was still around to hear it, I know he would have loved it.”

Chris field's Debut U.K Film for psychedelic soul rocker "I want
action".
Chris Field positively rocked the legendary Stars & Bars in Monte
Carlo. The vibe was electric and the performance - pure rock’n roll
at its very best. All of Chris’ fellow band members on his debut
EP I Want Action joined him on stage to perform the EP tracks, some brand
new songs and a brilliant cover of the Johnny Cash classic Folsome Prison
Blues. This fusion of talents was brought to a mighty crescendo when Chris
Field invited Julian Lennon on stage with him for the encore; together
they performed the Ben E King classic Stand By Me. The audience left with
a performance to remember.

Chris Field debut CD single release is available. Lead track is brass driven street kicking rocker "I Want Action". Also included are psyched up rocker "Inner City Breakdown" and a funked up horny cover of The Animals classic sixties hit "It's My Life". The three tracks were recorded at Rockfield Studios in Wales.
